The Transport of Radioactive Material By Sea - IMDG

Objectives

By the end of this course, delegates will be shown how to classify, pack, mark, label and document a radioactive consignment correctly using the current IMDG regulations.

This is achieved by showing delegates how the regulations are laid out, provided with practical exercises throughout, so that when the time comes, you will be confident in finding the information you need, when you need it.

Content

• Classify Radioactive material, based on certain information
• Be able to identify the Marks and Labels which are used for radioactive material
• Locate the information required for the documentation used to Transport Radioactive Material and,
• Understand how to navigate the IMDG regulations

Following completion of this course, there is also a test.

Upon completion and passing of this test, delegates will be issued with a certificate.

No previous dangerous goods experience is required for this course.
