Objectives
By the end of this course, delegates will be shown how to classify, pack, mark, label and document a dangerous goods consignment correctly using the current IMDG regulations.
This is achieved by showing delegates how the regulations are laid out, provided with practical exercises throughout, so that when the time comes, you will be confident in finding the information you need, when you need it.

- Background to the regulations
- General Provisions, definitions, training and security requirements
- Classification processes
- Thorough examination of the dangerous goods list, which contains more than 3,000 entries
- Packing and Tank Provisions
- Construction and Testing Requirements for packages approved for transporting dangerous goods
- Consignment Procedures, such as marking, labelling and documentation &
- Provisions concerning transport operations, such as segregation and stowage.
Following completion of this course, there is also a test.
Upon completion and passing of this test, delegates will be issued with a certificate.
No previous dangerous goods experience is required for this course.
