Dangerous Goods Security Level 2

Objectives

Level 2 would be relevant to managerial and decision-making staff, such as those who develop and set policies and procedures. The level 2 qualification is also applicable to dangerous goods safety advisers, health, safety and compliance managers, etc. Among other things, it teaches learners how to develop and set policies, conduct risk assessments, and create security plans.

Content

Delegates will also have a better understanding of:

• the threat facing the carriage of dangerous goods and how it is assessed
• the vulnerabilities surrounding the carriage of dangerous goods
• their role in implementing and maintaining effective security

Following completion of this course, there is also a test.

Upon completion and passing of this test, delegates will be issued with an Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) certificate.

No previous dangerous goods or security experience is required for this course.
