Lithium Battery Awareness

Objectives

To provide delegates with a good understanding of the ever changing regulations surrounding the transport of lithium batteries via all modes of transport, air, sea and road.

Content

• Understand the basis for the Dangerous Goods Regulations
• Recognition of various types of batteries that are shipped
• Classification process for the different sections used for shipping lithium batteries
• Identification of the potential hidden hazards in cargo
• Recognition of the marking, labelling, and
• Take a look at the documentation used to transport lithium batteries for all modes of transport

Practical exercises are used throughout this course and upon completion, delegates will be issued with a certificate.

No previous dangerous goods experience is required for this course.
