Dangerous Goods Awareness (Multimodal)

If your duties involve the carriage, loading, unloading, handling of dangerous goods (by road, sea, rail, or air) must undergo relevant training, the minimum requirements is the dangerous goods awareness. This course is suitable for packers, forklift drivers, warehouse staff, and freight forwarding personnel and anyone involved in the carriage of dangerous goods. Please be advised that we need a min of 5 delegates to run this.

Objectives

To provide delegates that may be handling, loading, unloading dangerous goods with a basic, but good, introduction to the world of dangerous goods.

Content

Understand the background and requirements concerning Dangerous Goods Regulations
Be able to identify the classes of Dangerous Goods
Be able to identify Dangerous Goods by packages, marks, labels, plates and placards
Recognise the documentation used to Transport Dangerous Goods
Handling and Storage of Dangerous Goods &
Identify the potential hidden hazards within cargo

Following completion of this course, there is also a test.

Upon completion and passing of this test, delegates will be issued with a certificate.

No previous dangerous goods experience is required for this course.
