Dangerous Goods Awareness (Multimodal)

Objectives

To provide delegates that may be handling, loading, unloading dangerous goods with a basic, but good, introduction to the world of dangerous goods.

Content

• Understand the background and requirements concerning Dangerous Goods Regulations
• Be able to identify the classes of Dangerous Goods
• Be able to identify Dangerous Goods by packages,  marks, labels, plates and placards
• Recognise the documentation used to Transport Dangerous Goods
• Handling and Storage of Dangerous Goods &
• Identify the potential hidden hazards within cargo

Following completion of this course, there is also a test.

Upon completion and passing of this test, delegates will be issued with a certificate.

No previous dangerous goods experience is required for this course.
