Objective

Designed for all personnel, at any level, who need to have a basic knowledge of the essentials of health and safety. The focus is on why health & safety is important, and how individuals can make a real difference to the well being of themselves and others through changing their behaviours.

Defining hazard and risk
Identifying common hazards
Improving safety performance

This course is approved by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

*Delegates will sit a multiple-choice assessment paper and a number of hazard spotting assessments at the end of the course. Delegates who achieve a pass mark in both these elements are issued with a Working Safely Certificate by IOSH.
