You are responsible for making sure that your employees receive immediate attention if they are taken ill or are injured at work. Accidents and illness can happen at any time and first aid can save lives and prevent minor injuries from becoming major ones

The First aid at work training course provides the comprehensive set of practical skills needed by first aiders in most workplaces to become a confident first aider at work.

 Giving those attending the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies within the workplace.

Who should attend?

First Aid courses are designed for people who want to receive the most thorough first aid training.

 Evolve does a: 3 day First Aid at Work   £245 + VAT per person

                           2 day First aid Refresher   £175 + VAT per person

                           1 day Emergency First Aid   £85 + VAT per person

All our courses are CIEH approved and all come with FREE Defibrillator training at no extra charge.

Below is a guide to help companies decide on how many First Aiders may be needed.

Low Hazard Less than 25 employees At least one appointed person
25-50 employees At least one First Aider trained in ‘Emergency First Aid at Work’
50 employees At least one First Aider trained in ‘First Aid at Work’ for every 100 employees (or part thereof)
High Hazard Less than 5 employees At least one appointed person
5-50 employees At least one First Aider trained in ‘Emergency First Aid at Work’ or ‘First Aid at Work’
More than 50 employees At least one First Aider trained in ‘First Aid at Work’ for every 50 employees (or part thereof)

Other factors to consider

Are operations on one site, multi-site, multi-floor buildings etc? If yes – consider how many First Aiders are needed per site/floor
Are operations in a remote location? If yes – consider full ‘First Aid at Work’ training for your First Aiders
Is there adequate cover for holidays and sickness leave? In no – consider training additional First Aiders to cover these situations
